Why do people get my email signature as an attachment?

When i send an email from my Outlook with my signature/logo, the receiver
gets it as an attachment. How do i stop it appearing as an attachment?
 
That is up to the receiver and not the sender. For instance the embedded
picture will show as an attachment when the receiver has set his/her
settings to display to or can only receive in Plain Text format.
