I am using Outlook 2007. My emails go to the Unread Mail folder, but do not
go to the Inbox.

The Unread Messages folder isn't a 'real' folder. It's a search folder that
shows all unread messages in your message store (PST file or mailbox). Does
the view show where the messages actually are?

The view says that it is in the Inbox -- but when I look in the Inbox, the
new emails are not there.

Do you have multiple message stores where there might be different Inbox
folders? Alternately, are you using a view of the Inbox folder that's
obscuring the new messages?
