Why do I get blank emails from known contacts?

I seem to be getting blank emails addressed to me from either known contacts
of mine or from a valid email address of an organisation/person. The entire
body of the email is blank. They have sent it directly to my email address
and I can see who it's from and there is even the subject heading, just no
text in the body of the email. Symantec's Norton Antivirus would usually
indicate if they've removed something from an email and there doesn't seem to
be any other indication of what is removing the message.

I am using WIN XP, Outlook 2003, Norton's Antivirus, MS Explorer. If anyone
can provide an answer it would be most helpful to end my frustration.

Cheers.

I too am having this exact issue, using Outlook 2003 SP2, the emails arrive
blank, but if I go to my ISP's webmail site, I can view the content of the
emails. If I reboot, the problem goes away and I can forward the emails from
webmail to myself and they will come in with all content and attachments
intact. The problem will then re-occur but so far there is no pattern of
when or why that I've been able to discern. Someone please help! HRG
