WHY DO I GET A THIS FILE IS READ ONLY MESSAGE WHEN I SAVE TO CD?

Every time i save files to a CD-RW disc I get a this file is read-only when I
try to make changes. Why is this?

Because writing to a CD-RW is not the same as writing to a floppy
disk.

If you need to make changes, copy the database from the CD onto your
hard drive.
Before you open the file, right-click on it, select properties, and
uncheck the Read Only check box. Open the database. Do what you need
to do. Copy it back to the CD.
