Why do properly deleted user account folders and files remain in the
Directory Structure? There is only myself as the administrator and the
deleted user accounts did not have administrator priviledges?

When you delete an account, you are given the option to save the user's
files on
the computer.

I understand that, so if I didn't choose the option or still have the user's
files on the computer, you are saying that's it?
Thanks for your assistance.

I do not understand.

Is it possible that you Disabled the account and did not Delete it?

Just delete those folders if you no longer need any data stored in them (e.g.,
e-mail or documents).

Wesley, I do appreciate your input.
In trying to delete the files and folders under the user account, I found
that I could delete everything except for the main directory user name and
the favorites folder.
Apparently the favorites folder had gotten intertwined with MY browser
favorites.
Well, after I laughed about it, I did remove the favorites folder and files
and straightened out MY user favorites folder as well.
This still leaves me with a directory that has the deleted user name in it
and a "this is a window systems file and can not be deleted" error message
when I go to delete it.
MY favorites folder in MY browser is working fine now also.
Interesting that the two accounts got interlocked like that. I still don't
know how to delete the deleted user's account name from the directory
structure though.
Thanks for your assistance.
HA
