Try repairing the registry entries for the .DLL files used by
activation.

Use Start- Run and enter the following text in the dialog box:
regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll

Then do it again with the following text:
regsvr32.exe licdll.dll

Good luck

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I have tried your suggestion to repair. But still
cannot solve my problem.
Any other possible cause of such problem?

Let me explain the whole situation again.....
Whenever reboot my pc, window XP keep prompt me to perform windows product
activation. Though earlier boot up i already performed and it indicated
"Thanks you! You have successfully activated your copy of windows" therefore,
i click "Ok" to finish the whole process.

I follow the Activation steps:
1) Window XP Home Edition prompt to perform window product activation
--> I selected "Yes"
2) Register with Microsoft?
--> I selected "No, I don't wnat to register now. let's just activate windows"
then system shows "checking for connectivities....
few seconds later, it prompt a message "Thank You! You have successfully
activated your copy of window"
3) Then i click "Ok" to complete the whole process of activation.
I'm able to use the system.

But after reboot, it prompt me to perform windows product activation
again............

That is a problem that does happen occasionally, and the registry
fixes that I suggested in my previous reply will usually fix it.

Try rebooting the computer into Safe Mode and doing the registry
repair items while in Safe Mode.

Good luck

You could try doing a Repair Install of your Windows XP as per the
instructions at http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

A Repair Install will preserve your installed applications, user data
files, and configuration settings. Windows Updates will have to be
reinstalled.

A total wipeout and clean reinstall as you mentioned should also work,
but this is pretty drastic action. On the other hand, the normal
fixes have not worked for your problem so maybe this is the only way.

Good luck
