why can't these jerk people be nice?

i am sick of these people being mean, stupid. why can't they be nice? its
just to stupid to post where there are JERKS everywhere! why can't even all
posters here be nice???? be nice be nice be nice be nice!!!

Probably because many of them are frustrated by the hundred and one
glitches,
flaws, and bugs that they have to fix on a daily basis with thier attempts
to run
the latest software on thier old dinasaur hardware. Upgrading for the sake
of
upgrading, and to be "one up on the Joneses" and so on.

Others like to profess the knowledge they do not actually know, and then
will start a flame war when criticised, even if the intentions were genuine.

Others are simply "Trolls" looking for an argument and are
not actually wanting to help others at all.

However these are Public Forums, and just as in the Public Street
you will have to make a jugement call, and ignore what is unhelpful,
and glean out the nuggets where you find them. But don't give up
hope just yet. Post your enquiry and see who will reply.

You don't have to slavishly follow every hairbrained suggestion ;-)

You mean like calling others "mean," "stupid," and "JERKS?"
 
NGs are just like any other public place. You get all kinds. Since you
aren't likely to change the behavior of the "jerks", your best option is to
retrain yourself to ignore them.
 
Why not head over to the Vista newsgroup and see how long you can take it
;-)
