why can't I view source code

I have xp and cannot get it to view the source code. When
I click on it, absolutely nothing happens. I emptied temp.
internet file folder and deleted cookies...still didn't
work. I haven't had this computer very long, but I don't
think the view source code has ever worked. Any
suggestions would be very much appreciated as I am trying
to learn html and really need this. Thanks!

Hi,

Have you updated your IE to the latest version? Have
you done a full maintenance on you PC? What kind of
Antivirus software do you have? When viewing a website,
do you right click in order to view source?
