Why can't i see my desktop?

Windows office 2000
When I start up my computer my desktop shows for a little while (1 Min.MAX)
and then we get all of these strange errors that talk about start up problems
and some certian paths wern't found. Then I am left with out any icons and a
blank desktop! Does anybody know how to fix this??
 
I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Windows 2000.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.
