why can't I print without margins

I have a Lexmark Z82 all-in-one using W XP home. I use
PaintShop Pro 8 and Print Artist 12. when I set the page
for no margins I still get printout with margins. also
WordPad will not let me set zero margins.I have checked
all Preferences/Options in all programs. I have contacted
every manufacturer and read every "Help" article with no
results. your help will be greatly appreciated thanks!
