Why can't I open files after moving them

I've moved sone .doc files to another folder and noew i can't open them. A
pop up says the document name or path is invalid. I've checked permissions
and tried to change them from read only but it will not allow me to do this
either.

Any suggestions.

Make sure the Path (C:\Documents and settings\Rookey\Folder here including
the Docs) is pointed to the new folder not the old one, also try to take the
ownership again to this files.
