why can't I install project server?

I am trying to install ms project server in conjunction with ms profject
professional and I keep getting this error message when I attempt to install:

"ms project server trial must be installed on ms windows 2000 server or
higher"

What does this mean???

Pleasssse help me

You are way off topic here. You should post to a microsoft.public.project
newsgroup.

But, I imagine in means exactly what it says. You must install Project
Server on an MS Windows 2000 Server or higher box. What is the OS of the
system on which you are trying to install it?
