Why aren't open & minimized programs in taskbar

Whenever a program is opened or minimized it doesn't show in the task bar.
This only happens on one user on this computer. I see many posts with this
issue and a link to Kellys Korner to fix it. I have had this problem 3 times
in the last 3 weeks. I have chosen to do a System Restore to fix it.
Computer scans clean for viruses and malware. Any suggestions as to why this
may be occurring?

Hi,
Try the taskbar repair scripts at
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm lines 164 & 240. You may have
to run these scripts from the affected user account and you may have to
temporarily give that account admin priviliges.
