Why are the values missing???

I have a workbook with various links to other workbooks. In this dependent
workbook I have 12 columns JAN to DEC.
When I open the dependent workbook all the data (from the sources) show up
until June, however the data (from the sources) after Jun does not show until
I open up any 1 of the source workbooks, why is this happening and how can I
rectify it?

There's an option that was added in xl2002 that allows you to open the workbook
without updating the links.

If you have that option turned on, then maybe the links evaluated to "" and
aren't updated for the new value.

As soon as you open the workbooks, excel will update those links when it
recalculates.

This option is under Edit|links|startup prompt (xl2002 or higher, though).
