Why am I unable to type in a return address on an envelope?

Would you be able to tell me why I am unable to type in a return address on
an envelope, when using Word? I have no trouble typing the address to the
person I am sending the envelope to. Yahoo is my e-mail provider. I do not
use Outlook Express. I am told I do not have a default and how do I
establish one when I'm unable to type one in? I have, only recently,
started having trouble with typing in my return address. I am so frustrated.
I hope you are able to answer my question and solve my problem. Thank you
for any advice you may be able to provide.

Are you trying to do this from the envelope editor or from an envelope
document.
If the latter, what happens if you click outside the address frame?
Do you have an address defined in tools > options > user information that
can be used by the envelope tool?
Word 2007 uses a different system to add the return address via a dialog box
in the label tool..
