Why am I not being able to do things?

I just got Microsoft Outlook 2003 set up with my hotmail account, and
calendar and all.. everything was going good but then all of a sudden I
haven't been able to save any new appointments, I can't reply to emails,
nothing... Does anyone have any ideas?
