Anyone know how to find appletalk seed routers on the network?

I am getting zones appearing and I don't know how to find where they are
coming from.

Thanks in advance,

Unless you're using some sort of network probing tool, the best method of
detection would be deduction.

First, if you suspect a Windows server is seeding the network, then it has
to have had the Appletalk services installed and running, which means that
server will also appear in a Mac's Chooser in the same zone as the Mac
itself.

Windows NT servers use to display themselves to Macs as ALL CAPS. Windows
2000 and 2003 may do this as well, but I'm not at a place where I can see
this right now.

As you review your Windows servers, open RRAS and check for Appletalk
Routing, which can create and seed zones. You can do this using the admin
tools locally on your own workstation.

Hope this helps! bill

The tool Atanlyzr.exe on the Windows 2000 Resource Kit will find appletalk
routers on your network.

Thanks, I'd like to check it out.
Do I have to buy that $300. set of books to get it?
I didn't see it with the downloads on the Microsoft's site.
