WHo stole my drives?

Dear All,
I had a cd/rw drive and two virtual cd drives (using daemon tools) on my
computer and all of the sudden they don't exist. In the devise manager they
are all marked as disabled and cannot be enabled. This can't be a hardware
problem, cause why should my virtual drives go away?
IBM TP A30
XP Pro SP1
