who is good at ghost

i use ghost to backup my xp at c: and it goes well when i restore on c: ,but
when i restore it on drive d: and reboot ,use "system commander" to set the
computer boot from d: ,but i can only get the blue screen.both the drive c
and d are ntfs.
who can tell me what is wrong??and how to creat a xp.gho that can restore on
any drive .

This has nothing to do with Ghost. It should be the same for any other
imaging program.

If Windows XP (and W2K) starts its life on the c drive, it stays on the c
drive. You can ghost and restore on any other drive you want, but the fact
is that Windows will not run properly: all the pointers to the drive letter
are to the c drive only.
