Are you asking which edition comes with media for both 32 and 64 bit? That
would be Ultimate retail only, AFAIK. For other retail editions, you have to
send in for the 64 bit media.
If you're asking which editions *come* in both 32 and 64 bit (depending on
which you request), they all do, AFAIK (dunno about the Starter Edition).

both do afaik but the 64-bit edition doesn't come in the box like it does
with other editions. You would have to purchase the 64-bit version from
Microsoft for a small (-ish) fee after buying the 32-bit edition.

<disclaimer>
that might have changed since I last heard :)

Starter Edition is 32-bit only and then it is also only licesed for use on
certain processors.

Windows Vista Starter is licensed to run only on PCs with:
Intel Celeron, Celeron D, or Celeron M processors
Intel Pentium 3 processors
Intel Pentium 4 processors not supporting Hyper-Threading technology
Intel Pentium 4 processors model 541, 531, 524, 661, 651, 641, 631, 630,
640, 650, 660, 670
AMD Athlon XP, Duron, Geode or Sempron processors
PCs with similar value processors from other manufacturers

I do not know much abt IT stuff. Sorry for that. I was told that one of my
old hardware is only supported by 32bit Vista. I understand that there are 4
edition of Vista. Just wondering which edition is 32bit.

Hi JoJo,

All editions of Windows Vista are available as 32-bit products.
So you can run which ever one you want on your 32-bit PC.
BUT
before you do please check that your hardware is of high enough
specification to run Vista and that all of you applications are compatible
with Vista and you can get Vista drivers that are compatible with your
hardware
