Hi,
I have just ordered a new PC vithout an operating system and wanted to install XP Professional on it, but I don't know whether or not to install the 32Bit version or the 64Bit version.

Here are the main specs of the new PC:
Intel COre 2 Duo 6750 Processor
4GB ddr2 800mhz RAM
500GB SATA 7,200 HD
1GB Geforce 8600GT Graphics Card
...the other specs are not important

Please can someone advise?
Thanks,
Dave

The main advantage is that with 64 bit you MAY be able to see and use all 4GB of your RAM depending on your motherboard chipset.

A good post to read about this is by Muckshifter HERE.
