which process is hitting hard disk?

Some process is hitting my hard disk big time, slowing down the whole
machine. I want to find out what process it is. How to do it? It
would be good if I can get report of amount (MB, KB) of data
read/written to disk per process. Thank you in advance.

You can use Task Manager and or Performance Monitor to see what process is
consuming the mem/cpu
