I use win 98SE.... for the moment... I do intend to upgrade..... would you say that XP is the best choice? it seems to be highly popular in the polls..
I intend to use the PC as a sort of home media centre, Music, Films, Web Browsing... Ect.. so i would have thought that the OS for me would be the XP home media edition... although i do belive you can only get this with a new (select) PC.. Apart from in the US

XP, imo, is a definite improvement over Win 98, though I still say Win 98, if you know how to look after it, is a fine operating system.

As for the Media edition, I have no idea. I've heard of it, but I believe that it's just XP with added 'MS aproved' programs, many of which (or similar) can be downloaded for free if you search around (and I mean legitimately downloaded, before anybody starts ;) )

I actually have 3 flags on my ceiling....

1x Union Jack
1x Star Pangled Banner (directly next to the UJ, to the right)
1x St. Georges Cross (was above my computer but was stuck on a pole outside for Euro 2004 and i havent put it back yet!!)

no more shots yet. havent played FS2004 in a while TBH, will soon though, have some nice new planes. Ive mostly been playing "Battlefield 1942 - Desert Combat Extended" against my cousin online. Great fun! me flying an apache with him sitting in the front gunning down terrorists!
