Which Laptop to buy?

Have narrowed it down to either Dell or Toshiba.
Spec looking at is 1.6GHz CPU+, 512MB RAM (Would prefer 1GB), 60GB + HDD & XP-Pro.
Laptop going to be used to test software on, run VMWare/Virtual PC & Linux Live
Dual Core would be nice!
Budget is £600 ex VAT

What are peoples views on them good or bad.

I quite like this ASUS Lappy. (£595) Only thing is its Media Centre Edition not Pro.

Or this one for a little over £600

Media Centre is great. Better than home.

Looked at so many Quad and have tried to narrow it down.
