I think my Canon i850 inkjet printer finally died. I need to replace it.
Do you recommend the new Canon inkjets with series 8 ink? I was told that
series 8 ink is expensive. I would appreciate any comments. Thanks.

Why don't you look at the Kodak Easyshare full size printers. The OEM
black ink retails for $10.00 and the OEM color ink retails for
$15.00. You never have to deal with aftermarket ink again if OEM ink
is that cheap in price.

The early reports is that the printer is not all that great.  Plus there have not been tests of ink quality and mileage as yet.  And they do not make a pure printer but a larger more expensive MFP.
