Chieftec, Antec, Thermaltake,

I jut discovered Chenbro

Chieftec are always sturdy good cases. But marketting is very poor,
you don't know what you're gonna get.

Antec have good cooling but i always find their cases cheap at the
front.. the front broke off.

Thermaltake i don't know.

Chenbro I just bought 3 great towers, really cheap. amazing cases
screwless design. FRont comes off so nicely. Anything scerwless like
the chenbro PC611 is good.

But if you want the best cooling. Then get a TAC(Thermally Advantaged
Chassis). This is the new intel spec for cooling.

this is insane. Chieftec cases look like chenming cases. It looks like
Chieftec cases are manufactured by chenming too?! Yet I have an
Antec cases and it is really not toughly built. Contrast that with
chieftec cases that have always been toughly built With a nice front.
Antec have horrible front and side. Chieftec have gone down a bit now.
My old chieftec didn't require me to pull out any metal to put 5.25"
drives in. MY new one does. so does my antec. Most manufactuers do.
It's really a shame chieftec have dropped to the level of the
competition.

Recently more lower grade Antecs have entered the market,
having only 0.8mm steel sheeting or 1.0mm aluminum. It gets
harder and harder to find any good > 1.0 mm steel cases
these days unless you're looking at disproportionately
higher priced server gear. However, in some cases there are
more minor features or a general price decrease (or more $
put into larger PSU capacity) so overall, it's a similar
value except for the issue of metal getting flimsy when
below a certain thickness per type and size.

Yes Chieftec/Antec/Chen Ming are all same case lines changed
ever so slightly, mostly cosmetically when considering same
case model with a different label on it... though it has
evolved some too, like rotating the front drive rack, while
there are still tons of the older racked type still in the
market.
