Which 19" LCD monitor to buy? (2 choices)

Monitor A:
-8ms response time
-280 cd/m2
-400:1 contrast ratio
-$10 cheaper

Monitor B:
-12ms response time
-250 cd/m2
-500:1 contrast ratio

Both of these are Acer monitors and they've gotten good reviews on Newegg.

I guess the real question is the 8ms response time more important than the
500:1 contrast ratio?

Thanks.

Are you a gamer? If not, you should not be concerning yourself with
the response time difference. That said, LCD specs such as contrast
ratio are always to be taken with a grain of salt. Since they are
both from the same company, they might reflect a real difference in
this case, however...

I doubt you will notice much dif between 400:1 and 500:1, being a
gamer I would go with the faster response time.
