Where's this XP setting to allow a 3rd party FW?

I use Zone Alarm 5.1.011 and would like to disable SP2's FW and allow
ZA to be recognized as a 3rd party FW. To do this, the following
settings are recommended.: Click Start>Control Panel>Security Center.
Drop down the firewall section click the button there. Then choose "I
have a 3rd party firewall that I'll monitor myself". And take the free
ZA back again. My problem is that I can't find the button that refers
to "I have a 3rd party...." I know that I must be doing something
wrong, but I cant figure out what it is. After opening Security Center
and then clicking on Windows Firewall (I assume this is the "firewall
section" referred to above, I don't see the needed button..Thanks for
your help,
Adam

Flycaster,
You need to open 'Windows Firewall' in the Control Panel > Turn Off, OK >
Now go to the 'Security Center' in the Control Panel > click
'Recommendations' > check box 'I have a firewall solution, etc.', OK .
Enable Zone Alarm.

I dont know what's going on, maybe my SP2 is different. When I open my
Security Center from the Control Panel, there is NO "recommendations,"
per se, on the opening screen. What there is is: Security Essentials,
under that is Firewall (which says on because it is probably reading the
Windows FW is off, but ZA's is on),Under that is Automatic Updates,
under that is Virus Protection, then Message Security Settings that
allow me to turn off Windows FW, but nothing related to the needed 3rd
party stuff. I must be missing something somewhere....

On the left. 'Change way Security Center advises me' and it is in that.
You should find that this ZA turns off the inbuilt firewall itself, and
lets S C know so it is happy.

Also note there is now a new version of ZA - 5.1.033

Update to the latest version of ZA, it is recognized by the
security center.

On left of Security Center I get "Change way Security Center Alerts
me." I guess that is what you meant to say, eh? Anyway, when selected,
it still doesn't give me the "3rd party" option. Nonetheless, as
Windows FW is off, and ZA iis on, that probably is all that matters.

I have noted that 5.1.033 is available, but I think I'll wait a while
before upgrading.

Thanks,
Adam
