Where to look for freezing errors?

Ok well i am havin a prob wit my XP pro freezing so i
went to look in the event viewer but i not sure if the
error is whats the problem. How can i know? The problem
that it is showing is:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: ACPI
Event Category: None
Event ID: 4
Date: 11/8/2003
Time: 1:25:46 AM
User: N/A
Computer: ARMSTRONG
Description:
AMLI: ACPI BIOS is attempting to read from an illegal IO
port address (0x71), which lies in the 0x70 - 0x71
