Where to find shorthand symbology?

I'm looking to see if it's possible to add medical shorthand symbology for MS
Office XP for our office. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hmm, are you talking about something like this:

If so, then, well, you can type these manually, or you could use
AutoCorrect/Complete to turn either Shorthand into the definition while
you type it.

If you want something else, you need to explain a bit more ...

Thanks for your reply and the link. The link does indicate several of the
more common shorthands accurately, but others not, and some, not at all. Part
of the problem I've found since working in the field and being a strong
advocate for MS Office is that many of these abbreviations use horizontal
lines above the letter or group of letters. For example, the correct symbol
for "cum" ("with") should look something like this:

c of course with the line and the letter closer to each other. Think of
"overline" instead of "underline."

Thanks for the link. It's a bit tedious for a "shorthand" maneuver, but it
gets the job done neat and clean. I think that repetition will make it
easier. Thanks again.

Well, you can save the combinations as AutoCorrect entries.

Thanks for that tip. I was unaware of that. I'll go to the Office Online
Tutorial and brush-up on saving as Auto-Correct. If that allows us to enter
our data in a fairly good flow, it will be a great help. Again, thanks for
sterring me on the right course!
