Autoformat maybe...

I have turned off every option I can find for automatic things in Word 2002.
I use ShortHand, and also do lots of copy+paste from other documents. I
never add any hanging indents, and there are none in the documents that I
paste from, but about half the time, the paragraphs take on the hanging
indent. I have to select everything pasted, or inserted from ShortHand, and
turn off the hanging indent. Why is it doing this, and how do I stop it?

P.S.
It was doing this on my previous PC using Windows 93SE and Word 2000, and
this is a brand new PC with Windows XP, and Office XP, so it is not a
corrupted normal.dot file, etc.
