One thing I dont see on Windows XP Hardware Device Manager, is the driver
for the printer, is there a place on Windows XP Professional where I can
check my drivers versions ?

Thanks

Open XP's "Help and Support" and type: HEALTH , and hit enter.
Then click on "Get Information about your computer".
Next, click on "Find information about the hardware installed
on this computer".

Click Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Information
The System Information Window will open. In the left pane, expand the
heading: Software Environment by clicking the + to the left of that heading.
Then click on Signed Drivers. In the right pane scroll through the list
until you find your printer driver in the Device Name field. The fields to
the right will give you the information that you need, Driver Version,
Driver Date, etc....

In Control Panel - Printers, r-click the Printer, Properties, and there
*may* be a page provided by the drivers themselves which will tell you

(In Device Manager you can take View - Hidden devices to have the
printers appear - but it just passes you on to the Printers folder when
you want to do anything)
