Hey there

I am in process to build new system based on Core 2 duo E6600 and need DDR
Memory..I am in Australia and here lot of reseller charging 100% extra than
like 2 monthes before so I was wondering if I can buy it from overseas
resellers.

Could you guys please let me know if there is such shop exists that ships
overseas at a good/reasonable price.

Cheers

Hi,
I am in the UK and occasionally order stuff from the US.
The problem with ordering from outside your own country (or economic
zone, like the EU)
is that you often have to pay import taxes. The price ends up being
higher than you expected.

In many cases the parcel will not be delivered to you unless you contact
the post office or courier and pay the customs fee that is outstanding.

With some smaller companies you can drop them a note and ask them if
they wouldn't mind putting on a customs label which means you don't have
to pay the tax.. That worked for me a few times with non-IT goods,
thanks to friendly US business owners.

But take this into consideration when ordering from outside Australia -
it is very irritating and for me, means I tend to try to find what I
need in an EU country...

Saying that - how about ordering from Singapore? Closer to you and known
as an electronics centre.. Fully English speaking people. I'd check
out Singaporean computer sites.

You need to set your preferences in GOOGLE to show Web Site with Just
the languages you can read. Just a thought.
