Confused!

On Ebuyer I have just seen this........

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4ghz Socket 775 FSB1066 4MB Cache Retail Boxed
Processor.....selling for £130.89

and this one

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHz Socket 775 1333FSB Socket 4MB Cache Retail
Boxed Processor..... selling for £119.06

Surely the E6750 is a better processor so why is it cheaper, or am I missing
something?

Just about to buy one for my new system and wanted some help with these
prices and which one to choose!

Cheers for the help

Interesting.

Is it worth me spending the extra on a Quad do you think?

Thanks for the quick reply

Keep in mind that they require different motherboards. Make sure which one
your motherboard can handle. And, yes, the newer faster ones are cheaper to
manufacture.
