Where Outlook stores account info

Where does out look store e-mail account info. My outlook
seems to have forgotten all of my e-mail accounts and
organization rules. I have all of the e-mails themselves
but not the accounts or rules. I want to recover from a
backup from a couple days ago if possible but I don't know
which files to recover.

They are contained in the registry but even restoring these keys can lead to
profile corruption. Your better of recreating your mail profile in Control
Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...

That is correct; it's stored in Binary. It's not supposed to be edited
manually either.
