Where on CD can I add drivers?

I have a copy of my XP MediaCentre installation discs on a USB drive. I can
boot from the drive and install XP. I'd like to include my SATA drivers on
the stick so Windows will automatically use them during setup.

Where can I copy the driver files into the Windows install disc file tree?

Google 'slipstream XP'. There are several programs that allow you to
slipstream (or insert) SP2 or SP3 or applications or drivers (or all of
the above) into an XP CD. The details are way to complex and vary
from product to product.
Nlite is one that I played with but never used. There are others and
each has it following and features.

I really like nLite for building slipstreamed install CDs (or DVDs for that
matter). It allows you to add service packs, drivers, and such and also to
remove items you don't want. You can also add the information for
unattended installations. I write the resulting install image to an ISO
file and then burn it to the media.
