A complete mystery. That google groups homepage wasn't working
for me a while ago! I guess someone must 've been "maintaining"
it for a little while.

try just groups.google.com - the beta has been gone for a long time AFAIk. I search this group all the
time.

time.

I was using an old version of Google toolbar so I wasn't picking
up the correct groups URL
