Where is the Update?

Hi - I have the SP2 update waiting to be installed in the
tray, but I now have it on CD, where can I find the
uninstalled update to delete it as want to use the CD
version. What Hotfix number does it go under as I can't
see SP2 in Add or Remove Programs?

in your windows update folder. unless it's installed it
won't be in add/remove programs.
and have you defraged and scanned for spyware and updated
drivers and patches from your computer maker.????

Hi

Clean out this folder (WU5's temporary download folder) to get rid
of the temporary installation files:

%windir%\SoftwareDistribution\Download\

(%windir% is typically C:\Windows)

How can you possibly see SP2 in Add/Remove? You yourself said it is "waiting"
to be installed.
