Try this:
Go to your Desktop
Right click on it
Click on: Arrange Icons By:
On the list that pops up, make sure this item has a check or tick mark:
"Show Desktop Icons."
If it is marked, and you STILL have no icons, Eldar, let us know, please.

The icon is usually in the same folder as the executable,
but if you just right click on the shortcut and select
properties, then the change icon button, you can browse to
any folder to pick any icon file ( .ico ).
You can make any graphic into an icon by using Paint to
create and resize the picture to 32x32 or 64x64 pixels and
save it as a .bmp. Then rename the file with an .ico
extension and you can use a picture of your wife,
girlfriend, J.Lo or B. Spears for your icon.

German is probably easier and what was that language they
tried to create 100 years ago/ Esperanto or something. It
is almost as dead as Trojan
