I just installed Windows Server 2000 at a customer's site (required for a new
software package not supported on 2003) and have a question about a .pst file
on a client. All clients were previously in a workgroup and I joined them to
the new domain. On some PC's, in C:/Documents and Settings, there was a USER
profile and a USER.NEWDOMAIN profile and I could copy items from one profile
to the other. There is one, however, where I only see the domain profiles
and no others and when I search for *.pst, it does not find the original
Outlook profile from the workgroup. Does anyone know what happened to the
original .pst? Is it possible to rejoin the workgroup to recover the .pst or
how can I resolve this? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
