Where do I find the SP2 upgrade fro Win 2000PRO? Can't find it on MS sites
anywhere. Need it to load Adobe Acrobat. Thanks for any help

You can get any of the Windows 2000 Service Packs here:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/servicepacks/default.asp


But why SP2 instead of SP4? SP4 has many fixes not included in SP2.

Perhaps, but for some it introduces a number of problems as well.

My system runs MUCH better at SP2 than SP4...
due to the unaddressed "GUI slowdown" (thread deadlock?)
problem embedded somewhere in SP4...
