Where is "New Document" icon in start menu?

How would I add the "New Document" icon and "Open Document" icon to my start
menu?
 
For Office 2003 or Office 2007 these are optional installation items that can be added from the Microsoft Office choice in the list
of installed programs through the Windows control panel.
