where have my words gone???

i've been having probelms with my IE 6 lately. and no i've
lost the ability to type text into my browser window

anyone know any fixes for this? or anyone know the process
for repairing IE in win xp home?

Normally it should be impossible to type into a browser window. Are you
referring to trying to type into input text boxes presented on web pages
and displayed by the browser? If yes, then what exactly happens when you
try to do this.

Experiment. Go to www.google.com and try to type into the text box the
search words "unable to type into text boxes in Internet Explorer". Can
you get the words into that box? If not what happens? If yes, then
press "return" key and see what "hits" you get.
