Where have all my toolbar buttons gone?

I have a very strange thing happening with Target Designer

All of the buttons on the standard toolbar are missing. I'ts not that they
are greyed out they are just not there.

Yesterday they were there (although they have gone missing on previous
occassions) but today they are missing again. I'de not installed any new
software or anything like that.

Just as a test i installed FP2007. That has not fixed it.

Am i going to have to un-install everything and re-install it?

On a related topic i've somehow managed to undock the Component brouwser and
the toolbar from the rest of the application and can't get them to dock back
again. I did this as i have two screens and i thought it might be useful to
have the componenet browser on one screen and the configuration on the other.

Have i messed it up completely?

Is the menu bar still there? If so, from View menu, is Toolbar checked?

Move the Component Browser window near it's original location and double
click on the top of the window. this should lock it back into place.

the menu bar is there. the toolbar is checked. the toolbar is there. it's
just that there are no buttons on it.

I'll try with the componenet browser when i'm back in the offioce on Monday

I ran TD twice this afternoon after i posted.

the first time the buttons were missing. the second time they were there.

something odd happening i fear.

I'll try and pin down what causes the buttons to disappear next week and
post if i get anywhere.
