I can not find it. I wish to change the default location for the normal.dot
but can not see where I need to do this - let alone just find where the
normal.dotm is??

Any tips would be fantastic.

Same place it was in Word 2003 or earlier, except that it is called
normal.dotm.

You change the location at Word Options > Advanced < General > File
Locations (the current location will already be defined there).

I have done a search on the c: drive for the normal.dotm and it does not find
it, hence my question.

If I wish to change the default location for the normal.dotm to another
drive how would I go about doing this.

Thank you for your response Graham - you are brilliant.

And thanks for giving me a response that I can work with, not just a blunt
"same as it was in Office 2003". You have restored my faith in these forums.

Cheers
