Where does Windows Defender store files

We are evaluating Windows defender for use by our traveling users. The
product seems to work fairly well however we have no way of monitoring
what users are blocking or allowing on thier system. We would also like
to be able to see their history of detected items. I have been digging
around looking for a location where this type of information might be
stored with no success. Does anyone know where this type of information
is stored?

Windows Defender is designed to "prevent" spyware/malware
from entering into the system. There really isn't a log of what
type of spyware/malware Windows Defender prevented from
being installed unless it is noted in "History".
