Where do you find a listing of updates you have installed on Windo

! either have a "brain cramp" or Microsoft has changed something. Anyway, I
am not financially well off enough to have Broadband or DSL and have pokey
old dial-up. These monthly updates Microsoft puts out take FOREVER to
download! By the time they're finally done, the next month's comes out.

Anyway, I used to be able to find which downloads were finished and which
ones I had to go yet. I can't seem to find that link on the Microsoft
website anywhere.

Could one of you computer smart folks help me out? I'd really appreciate it!
 
Best way is to visit the Windows Updates site once (www.windowsupdate.com)
and note down the list of updates in a Notepad. Then, from another system
having a broadband connection, you can download the noted updates via the
Windows Update Catalog.
