where do i go to type somthing and then print it?

i was wondering where i need to go to type and then print.i just can't find
it.so i was wondering if you could help me find the typeing part.

you could do the typing part in a program such as Word and then do the
printing part on hardware such as a printer

Try Notepad, and maybe a more complete question.
