Where did design templates in powerpoint 2003 go?

For some reason, I can no longer see the design templates for PPT 2003 in the
task pane. Animation and color schemes still work, and i think the design
templates do too, but I cannot see them - the pane is blank. Any ideas why
and how to fix?

I would make sure that you have cleared your temp files as a first step,
defrag the drive and clear the browser cache
Then look for updated video driver files and turn back graphics hardware
accelleration (right click desktop >
properties>settings>advanced>troubleshoot)
