Where can I find trustworthy test of AV programs?

Are there some links where I can find definitive and trustworthy
testing results of AV products?

What about trojan tests, since I am given to understand that some AV
products which do well on AV tests are failures when it comes to
catching trojans?

Thank you.

You should also check out http://www.ik-cs.com/library.htm for a list
of AV comparatives.

Trojans can be difficult to detect, just scanning file headers. They are
much easier to detect once they are executed or residing in memory. Of
course, that's what you don't want to happen.

If you're at all concerned that your usual safe computing habits aren't
enough to keep trojans off your system (I never see any myself I wasn't
purposely looking for), you might want to consider a program like
BOClean, for insurance purposes. It runs in memory and if by chance you
happen to execute something you shouldn't, it should kill the process,
delete the file(s) and keep it from writing to the registry. Just to be
on the safe side, add to that something that monitors your registry for
changes and requires your permission before they become permanent.

Unimportant since we can already see you are using remailers by the
"mail2news" in your PATH header. By the way, the signature delimiter
(sigdash) is "-- ", not "-=-".
